The Sound Research Lab lab offers computer musicians, composers and audio designers 24-bit, multi-track digital audio; software- and hardware-based audio control systems; CD mastering equipment; 5.1 surround sound mixing; audio-for-video packages; notation software and MIDI sequencing systems.

The Herberger Institute comprises ASU Art Museum, ASU FIDM, The Design School, The Sidney Poitier New American Film School and the Schools of Art; Arts, Media and Engineering; and Music, Dance and Theatre.
