All concentrations include substantial credit hours devoted to interdisciplinary research and thesis work within the Arts, Media and Engineering research network.
The school also offers a unique Media Arts and Sciences PhD program in which students focus on translating and transporting knowledge and skills across disciplines. This transdisciplinary degree is heavily focused on collaborative research, with courses complementing research activities.
